Cocoa

We all know eating chocolate is good for the soul, but did you know that cocoa seed butter is good for your skin, too? This moisturising ingredient repairs dry skin, soothes burns and rashes, and helps fight the signs of ageing. Get a dose of cocoa in our Antioxidant Daily Renewal Cream – and go ahead and treat yourself to some dark chocolate while you’re at it.

Cucumber

They don’t say ‘cool as a cucumber’ for nothing. Comprising 96 per cent water, cucumbers are one of Mother Nature’s coolest ingredients, hydrating your body, flushing out toxins, and soothing burns and rashes. Plus, cucumbers are packed with nourishing vitamins and minerals, including magnesium, potassium and silicon. For a refreshing skin cleanser that contains cucumber, try our Micellar Pure Cleansing Water.

Green tea

Rich in antioxidants, amino acids and polyphenols, green tea acts as an anti-inflammatory, so it’s great for toning down redness and preventing breakouts. If you have normal to oily skin, try our Foaming Facial Cleanser with purifying green tea. For even greater results, switch one of your daily coffees for a cup of green tea.

Kakadu plum

This native Australian fruit is a nutritional powerhouse, brimming with antioxidants and more vitamin C than oranges. Kakadu plum nourishes your skin, fights fine lines, and removes pimple-causing bacteria for a clear complexion. Apply our Daily Facial Moisturiser for your Kakadu plum fix.

Macadamia

High in omega 3s and other essential fatty acids, macadamia oil moisturises, softens and regenerates the skin, fights inflammation, and provides a natural barrier to protect your skin from moisture loss. It’s a key ingredient in our Deep Cream Cleanser, which nourishes and hydrates as it cleanses. When 3pm snack-time strikes, grab a handful of macadamia nuts to eat.

Mandarin

The high levels of vitamin C in mandarins help fight free radicals and reduce the signs of ageing, such as fine lines, wrinkles and blemishes, making it an ideal addition to our Beauty Elixir Botanical Body Lotion. With their easy-peel skin, the fruit’s also the ideal addition to school and work lunchboxes.

Orange

Another citrus superstar, sweet oranges are bursting with antioxidants and vitamin C. Plus, the invigorating fragrance of orange in our Beauty Elixir Botanical Body Wash will turn your shower into a spa-like experience. Don’t save the orange quarters for halftime, either. This fibre-packed fruit is perfect for snacking at any time of day.

Rose water

If you suffer from acne, dermatitis or eczema, the anti-inflammatory properties of rose water are about to become your new best friend. This delicate floral water reduces redness, tones down irritations, and reduces bacterial growth to soothe and rebalance your skin. Try it for yourself with a spritz of our Hydrating Mist Toner.

Sunflower

Rich in vitamin E and beta-carotene, sunflower oil is a multi-tasker when it comes to skincare. This moisturising ingredient can hydrate the skin, fight fine lines and wrinkles, prevent acne, and boost the skin’s natural collagen and elastin for a more youthful complexion. Treat the delicate skin around your eyes with our sunflower-enriched Antioxidant Soothing Eye Serum.

Vanilla

Best known for flavouring cakes, ice creams and custard, vanilla’s charms extend well beyond desserts. Vanillin boasts anti-bacterial properties to fight pimples, antioxidants to reverse the signs of ageing, and B-vitamins to protect your skin from environmental toxins. You’ll find vanillin in our Retoning Facial Scrub, along with crushed walnut shells, caramel and mandarin – that sounds like a delicious cake recipe right there.
